Nextspan Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-11 (the optional Standard plan).
These terms apply to merchants who install Nextspan, a Shopify app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.
The service
Nextspan shows product recommendations, a free-shipping progress bar and an optional gift-with-purchase offer on your storefront, and reports how those features perform. It works from your own store's products and orders.
Features may change, and the service is provided without a guaranteed level of availability.
Price
Nextspan is currently free for early merchants. We plan to charge $29 per month after that.
Free use is not consent to pay. Before any charge begins, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days in advance, and a paid plan will only start if you approve it through Shopify's billing system. If you do not approve it, nothing is charged.
You can also choose the Standard plan now, from the app's Plans page. It has the same features as the free plan and costs $29 every 30 days, billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice, and it starts only after you approve the charge in Shopify. You can switch back to the free plan on the same page at any time; the subscription ends at once and the unused days are credited. Uninstalling the app also ends it.
Your data
How we collect, use, keep and delete data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms: https://nextspan.fly.dev/privacy
In short: we process your store's data only to provide the service to you. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use one merchant's data to serve another. You remain responsible for your relationship with your customers, including the consent banner and privacy notice on your own store.
When you uninstall the app, we delete your store's data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for a lawful Shopify store, and in line with Shopify's own terms.
- You decide which offers run on your store. If you turn on the gift-with-purchase feature, the discount it creates follows the settings you choose, and you are responsible for honouring the offers shown to your customers.
- Do not attempt to access other merchants' data or interfere with the service.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that recommendations will increase your sales, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost revenue. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the service
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end the service if it is misused, or if we discontinue the app, and we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Changes
Material changes to these terms will be announced in the app's admin page at least 14 days before they take effect.
